Would you like to see a Lightning Returns event?

You know, it is possible to simply not participate in an event that you don't have an interest in.

Some of you are acting like there is no down-time when it comes to events, as if there is always an event going on in-game and that we can't squeeze in another "Lightning Returns" event without sacrificing some potentially superior event. Or that we've never had two events running at the same time (we have).

Truth is the event could run for a week and have zero meaningful impact on those who have no interest in it. In the end it will make people who missed it previously happier and is no skin off your backs. Sounds like a win-win scenario to me.

Exactly this, I fail to understand how some people believe that we could get another new event instead of reimplementing the Lightning one. Do you know how development works? Then you should know full well that reimplementing an event would take less than a fraction of the time an entire new event would take. Don't want the event? Sure, whatever. Saying we could get a brand new in its stead? Doesn't make sense.

Sure it is and I'm sure the bulk of people posting here wouldn't participate in it. Likely most of the community wouldn't because they have the items which is likely the reason it won't come back for a while. That being said the entire post was asking what we thought of having it back, and like almost every other thread about this subject the bulk of people don't really care to have it back and then a few get offended that people have the audacity to give their opinion on a thread asking specifically about their opinion. No one is "acting" like anything. They are simply responding to a post and giving their opinion.

The truth is it has zero meaningful impact whether it comes back or not.
