Addressing the topic directly, i would say that 3.1 has been good to PLD.
With the new gear available, PLDs can increase their DPS quite a fair bit via the new gear available from void ark and thordan ex.
I don't think anyone should complain about PLDs supposed lack of DPS anymore.
Just lacking the void ark body piece and 1 more week of farthing upgrade to my helm to complete my ideal gear set right now.

If anything else, i would just like clemency to be cut to 2.5 seconds cast instead of 3 seconds.
