Arguably you are, because you are asking for a form of discrimination against other players players based on their use of a DoL class in content that includes gathering nodes for DoL classes.

It is for RL discrimination such as Religious views, race, sex, and sexuality choices. Asking Sqaure to equalize the loot between combat classes and DoL is not against the guidelines.

Actually, I got a 10 day ban at one point for replying to a post saying that it's hard to gear up with "Really? I guess I missed that memo." The email I got cited the reason as my post being discriminatory in nature. That whole thread was a mess so it might've just been a mass ban of everyone that was posting in it, but yeah. Sometimes they ban for weird shit. :|

First, you've very clearly and graciously acknowledged that the wording of the subject could have been better, which is a lot more than many posters would do.

I would like to point out that discrimination is something that goes far wider and deeper than the things you mentioned and can be extremely subtle or quite explicit. Simply creating a hostile climate - hostile towards a particular group - very much *is* discrimination. That said, your post hardly qualifies as that, even if the title was a bit emotive.

Clearly. However you posted that as part of the guidelines for posting you quoted while defending your original post and topic. I included it in my reply because it is a catch all and allows the community managers to remove/lock topics that do not explicitly break any other rule, but which might be considered a problem. I wasn't suggesting that your post does qualify, merely reminding you that the decisions community managers and moderators make are not always so clear cut.

I think we both know full well that this suggestion doesn't fall into the same category as that rule. It's safe to assume that rule relates to "Reaperking386 is a giant butt, don't associate with them", or "Miqo'te forum posters are idiots" and not a suggestion related to the game. The title is a bad one though, you can tell a fair few people didn't read the actual thread and responded to the title.

Yeah, I am sure that they have and Reaperking has more than once graciously acknowledge the wording could have been better.

On the actual topic. I don't think that anything that alters the current rolling rules would be needed. Perhaps the best thing to do would be to deactivate the gathering nodes and fishing when Diadem is entered through DF, making DF (not a premade group) a combat only way to enter this content. That way there is no question about loot rules.

Of course that would create some issues for DoL players who currently use DF. However there's nothing stopping them from using PF to get a group together.

Ultimately though I hope cooler heads prevail because I don't know whether SE will make changes specific to DF for Diadem, and I suspect that if changes were made to better accommodate DF, it would have an impact on the content for everyone, FC & premade as well.
