here we go again. op you are angry because your playtime is on the day of maintenace well get over it. if you have not noticed that there have been sever crashes, freezes,exploration vistas either dont exist for ex you arrived at an vista however nothing there, vista there not accsessable or accessable not completable. to other issiues that have arrised after last extensive maint and the ones that se did not have time to fix in i belive an 10hr maint. you say you want to be compensatied for this well i will say on the behalf of the community. an mmo is not for you . and plz ppl such as your self stop bashing se, communities and mods because of your displeasure. and for that anomally its part of the peoblem they are doing an maint. its like going to an gas station and yelling at the attendent to that you deserve free gas because of there is 3 broken pumps and you had to wait longer to fuel up. in this situ you have other options to get gas like wise with ffxiv there are other games to play while maint is going on i have ffx hd to fill in the time id sugg u do the same

You said it yourself, its just bad luck this affects you when you have time off to play, it sucks, but when the servers need an unexpected fix, they have to take em down before something actually bad happens, sometimes they can't let people know beforehand, they generally try to.

I remember when Moogle (and just Moogle) was down for emergency maintenance when I was in the middle of something for my FC, yeah it was lame but that's the way it is with MMO's. Square ultimately owes you no free game-time because you weren't free to play it at the time.

Besides, I am pretty sure you couldn't log in before maintenance, hence why it needed to be fixed.
