I think it was clarified somewhere that both Answers and Dragonsong are sung by Hydaelyn, or at least from her perspective.

Ferne himself clarified at PAX Prime this year that both theme songs are primarily sung from the perspective of Hydaelyn. If anything, it makes a bit less sense for Answers, since that got bootstrapped into being Bahamut's theme. Dragonsong has always pretty clearly been Hydaelyn.

Answers is a case of applicability, being able to refer to both sides of the calamity (Bahamut and the Warriors of Light, or Bahamut and Louisoux maybe)

The songs are both very easy to project assumptions onto. For instance, I've always sensed there was something about the primals in Answers, with all the mentions of the Land and the use of the word Forsaken (often associated with primal lore), but it's more or less just about the Wandering Races feeling like life sucks and Hydaelyn explaining the value of trials and learning who you are and what you can do.

Since "the Shadow of Mhach" is going into the Sixth Umbral Era history, I wonder if that means Answers will be remixed in the later raids like how it was used throughout the coils.

I heard part of it (or at least part of its rhythm) during the Enchida boss fight, though granted, the part in quest seems more simialr to the Coil remixes then the actual song

It definitely does sound like the boss theme from Coil.

Given the ... difficulty of parsing Dragonspeak do you mind telling me how you came about this information? The only confirmed song with Dragonspeak is, as far as I know, "Heavensward."

Yet, given the frenetic singing within "Heroes," and overall radio silence regarding the lyrics I'm willing to entertain this thought! It makes a weird confusing sort of sense that Thordan's song would be in his enemy's language (though I'll never not hear "Praise unto the god-king Thordan!")

Each passing day I worry I'll wake up to a post saying it's all a fancy trick of the mind like "Ultima."

Well, hopefully we'll get some answers in two weeks when the OST drops. At the very least we ought to get lyrics for the Alexander standard boss theme =)

I also would like to know more about that song, aside from those lyrics it's pretty foggy, I really can't make out the other words of the song (both from Heavensward trailer and Thordan fight)
