Well seeing that this is the first FF game i've played I don't know much of the lore. And I don't remember reading somewhere that I have to have an original name. People can copy from other places it's a damn game get over yourself.

Ok :3 /10char

My forename is a copy of the name used for my character in wow (night elf), and the surname was randomly generated by the game for a male Roegadyn. It would however be classed as an original name. Nomfur was a randomly generated name in wow which I found hilariously appropriate as a feral druid. But it does lack creativity unfortunately.
White Mage ~ Scholar ~ PaladinBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.
Let me introduce you to the ToS (Terms of Service) that you signed:

Well technically my name is none of that. And are you seriously so sad that you go through the ToS. Seriously just get over it and leave people that arent complete idiots to have fun.

I doubt square actually cares to be honest. Their legal department just put that in their to remove their liability from being sued from other companies.
That being said, I did run neverreap with Amy Winehouse before lol.

Thats pretty much it, they need to cover everything in the ToS. (Hence why no one reads them haha)
Back on Tonberry I did a couple of runs with Kim Kardshian.

People's reactions seem to have a lot more to do with the popularity and expectations of the average fan than the simple fact that the name came from somewhere else though. As an example from just FF games...
If you name your character Sephiroth Jenova, most people are going to have a negative reaction.
On the other hand, if you name your character Reis Dular, most people who recognize it are going to have a more positive reaction.
Please let me decide on my own what is fun for me. I am sorry that you are so narrow minded that you can't imagine people having fun in different ways than you. Also, resorting to insults to proof a point is very clever, I congratulate you.
By the way, the little button saying "Reply with Quote" allows you to quote people but I am sure you know that.
Oh and good to know you sign everything without reading it. You're most likely one of those people that insist something wasn't in the contract because "it was so long so I didn't read it".
I know why people do it but it still doesn't make any sense and shows me they have a lack of imagination. For example, I can't remember how many forms for Daenerys Stormborn/Targaryen/khaleesi I have seen around. This is not a jab against the person I quoted above but are people really so boring that they have to use some (oftentimes) fucked up spelling because they just have to have that name?People's reactions seem to have a lot more to do with the popularity and expectations of the average fan than the simple fact that the name came from somewhere else though. If the name I want is taken, I choose a different one. There is even a random name generator.....
