Ok, rather than continue beating a dead horse, here is my suggestion. The next time they do a ticket event, they should have a new cosplay outfit. Let's say a Tonberry outfit. When you redeem your code, you are asked to CHOOSE between the moogle or tonberry outfit. So same thing as before, if you have the old one you still get something new, but if you're dying for the moogle costume, you get a second chance.

"Slap it into the optional item store or attach it to the Gold Saucer for MGP" are lame options when you consider the original method of acquisition and whether this makes it easier / less costly to acquire.

I don't think people complain about the Ahriman Chokers or the Dodo Earrings because they always seem to come back for every community event.

And that's totally true. The items keep reappearing in a similar method, while new items are also being continuously added. It wouldn't hurt for other promotions to keep this strategy in mind.

Unless you worked really hard for something, dont complain about rarity.

Lets use Kirin for example. I worked so hard getting it only to see him EVERYWHERE I go. Literally almost everyone on my server has it. I wasted my time. I didnt even like the ponies anyway so I regret working my butt off getting them all.

The majority of people who got the suit payed 20$ for it. No work was done to achieve it. It was just bought. The people who actually went to the fan fest, I SUPPOSE they worked for it. But why do they care so much about people having it?

Did you seriously just ask why people care so much about others having the moogle attire whilst simultaneously expressing frustration that others have your kirin mount? Do you really not see the irony in that?

Have all the codes expired? I gave two codes away to close in-game friends who are very much into glamour/collecting but couldn't afford the stream. I ended up buying access to every stream to see them live. If codes haven't expired, trying find someone who bought more than one stream maybe they would be willing to sell it to you somehow?

I went to Fan Fest because I wanted to go for the event's sake, not for the moogle suit. I have my souvenirs from the live event - my Fan Fest book, Livequest book, and "I Beat Odin" T-shirt as well as my Warrior of Light T-shirt.

I have no qualms with letting others get the items in the game as well.

Fun fact: The suit is sent to every character you make on your account. So my newbie alts get to run around in a moogle suit. (Although I've found the Cloud Strife suit looks better, as far as newbie gear goes.)

And no, those items are long gone and I dont really care for them. I dont even fully care about the moogle suit. I just want damn cat paws and feet and tail and ears on my lala. Moogle suits paws and feet are closest to cat that we will ever get. If a cat set ever released, maybe a cait sith outfit or something id be happy. Its about wanting to be a cute looking lala cat, and not having to be a human with only ears and a tail (miqote)

No, it's not. If you want to be a cat, then use a fantasia and change to a miqo'te. No use getting yourself bent out of shape trying to base your in game identity around an exclusive item that's not available to you. If it comes available again one day then you can pick it up then, but if it doesn't it doesn't. ( I don't think it should but that's beside the point.) It most likely won't come back at least not anytime soon so why not just find something else to aim for and move on?
