Actually, I believe people have asked for a male-specific version and not necessarily sharing the at-the-time-current ears with the females. In fact, if I remember correctly, they asked for the bent ears for males before 3.1 was even on the horizon.

With this character's death, the thread of prophecy remains intact.
lol if I were them I would ask for devil horns or something cool like spikes or pins like pin head idk I cant see myself wearing bunny rabbit ears.
We have asked for a uni sex version, then we asked for a male version, we don't care which version we get as long as said item is available to us. A uni-sex version would benefit EVERYONE, male locked gear hinders female characters who want to wear things that are deemed "masculine"
@ Above post, you can ask for devil horns if you wanted to?
Uh, the Gambler outfit resembles Setzer's costume, and Setzer is - as far as I know - male. They didn't lock that to men because the argument that one person wearing something means the other gender can't is fundamentally flawed.
The bunny costume is a popular sexy outfit in Japan (even more so than in the US, where it originated) and it's appeared in all kinds of series. If you're just limiting it to ears, here are some examples of Square-Enix properties which show bunny ears on male characters from memory. I'm reasonably confident I can find more extreme examples if you want.
In any case, it makes more sense to focus on the existing models as it will be a lot easier for them to adapt them for male characters than it will be to create brand new items and risk upsetting all of the ladies.
Honestly things should be unisex, barring that I would settle for a male and female version of every set, or some sort of corresponding outfit (something that Guild Wars 2 did well, to a degree).
It was until people threw up a big stink about it being locked to males, if I recall. It's been a while. >.>

Me really desperate to become bunny and ended up become...
Mecha Bunny![]()
You would not get anything out of that. It would not get you another glamour. These kinds of comments shows you people aren't actually interested in getting more glamours for male characters. You just want to take away glamours from female characters.

No. I just don't know why bunny outfit is female only while setzer, that is something c/c from a guy, is unisex. In that logic, -SE logic-, Setzer should be male only or bunny set unisex.
I don't want to take away anything I just don't understand SE logic.
