Is it unreasonable to seek people at the part of a fight as you are?

Like I said, give em a shot. If they die once, take it as a learning turn, they die again then they obviously are not a fast learner and are removed. :P

That's asking to waste 10~-15 (depending on time between pulls / entry /etc) of everyone elses time and is extremely discourteous to the others I am trying to get through the phase we are wishing to learn.

Not only that, but you're also potentially losing 20+ minutes (POTENTIALLY) because of the fact that you're filling up a spot that someone with the appropriate experience could've filled that spot.

Basically you're ultimately wasting anywhere from half an hour or more of seven other peoples' time.

I understand the wish to help others, but I do not think it unreasonable to gate those who have not seen X yet. If I hate to wait for an hour to get those people, I'm perfectly fine with that. My goal is to complete a task we head in there to complete.

That isn't what the OP is saying. His PF is basically saying "Hey, we've figured things up to X point after doing this all day. I'd appreciate if you knew up to this point as well so we don't have to start from scratch again".

OP's in the right. His PF is very clear about the requirements/expectation and he wasn't asking for people to know well beyond what he was capable of doing himself. Which is what 90% of PF's will be by next week at the latest when people start trying to get carried.

there is nothing wrong with what you want to do but you should remember that YOU too needed a few tries and that YOU too wasted the time of others...right ? dont act as if you were above now that you passed the first small step.
