It was a fiasco because it's the first and most potent example of the dev team actually REMOVING content from the game to put into the cash shop

once again, baseless accusations. Yeah the mount itself was functional. But nothing says that you would have been able to ever mount it. The only reason it was functional in the first place was because they needed it to be for the FATE.

Sleipnir hasn't been removed. You can't remove something that isn't here. People just felt entitled. They thought they had to get Sleipnir in game, that it was a given. But it wasn't. Devs never said it was.

you can't blame them when the community made baseless assumptions are deceived itself in the end
