Yes, it is a QoL improvement. It's not something NEEDED. But I also don't NEED teleports, I could just travel everywhere on my trust chocobo steed. Does it make life more convenient to be able to teleport instead of walking everywhere?
i did not mean to say it would not be nice, more convenient, comfortable to have a "repair all items on armoury crate at once" button. but its a small thing, its -not- that important.
another things of the kind that could be added to cozy our lazyness would be a desynth all or even a fertilize all and tend all button for the garden plots,
idk how you can really compare the repair all button to the teleport function, the way they affect the player is completly diferent, and the teleport will save you hours at the end of the day, not minutes.

besides, the moment you open a thread, remember, you are opening yourself to get everyone's opinion, not mindless agreement. if you wanted such should just have opened a pool with "yes add it" as the only option.
that beeing said, i wish you luck with having them listen to the request. if they add it, Great! if they dont, oh well, wont really have a big impact to me.

The same can also be said for mindless disagreement. Otherwise, things like "they use that developemental time for something else" or "we don't really need it" can realistically be said for any QoL change.

That largely depends on the kinds of teleports we talk about. For example, the inner city ones usually only speed you up by 20-30 seconds or the like. Not that different from having to repair everything seperately
Of course, other small conveniences would be nice too, but there is no similar system in place like it already is for repair NPCs. For example, in gardening, there is no option to select the whole flowerbed at once yet. If there was, it would be a small task to add the option to mass-fertilize. But as things stand, every planting place is completely seperate from the others, so it would assumingly be a bit more work to change that. On the other hand, there already are systems in place that check your whole inventory and armoury for eligible items (like for example when you want to turn in equipment at the GC for seals), so with slight tweaks, a repair all button could easily be implemented.
Still, you are always free to submit the improvements you'd like just the way I did with this one

never, not even once, i said this would be a bad idea, just because it was a bad idea.
if the dev team came up to us players and asked "do you want this feature implemented?" i would almost probably say "yes, its a nice feature".
In my personal opinion do i think other things could be implemented instead? yes i do. do i think this caters to our lazyness? yes. BUT i also see why players that use the npc a lot would like it.
i'm not disagreeing just for the sake of beeing against someone's idea. its through discussing these things and seeing everyone's side that we get to cool stuff.

btw i teleport a lot around town, pretty sure the teleports of any kind save me a lot of time =D

Choice of words is what really gets your intention across though.

It's sort of two different perspectives when you compare to your recent posts. You go from a "I don't see this being much help, I'd rather them do this" to "I can see how it can help"

Yeah, is one of those "It's amazing that we don't already have it" features.

Maybe they will work on it for 4.0? XD

Why don't you throw this idea in the QoL thread?

You don't have to max level to crafter repair. Decently high? Sure, but beastmen dailys and GC turn in make this easy. (But as you said this is not on topic. As you are talking about NPC repair.)

I could see NPC's getting this function I would not be against that in the slightest, but I don't think it is a top priority implementation. It is a minor annoyance for people that are trying to repair everything in their armory and inventory for a min or so. So unless you have "chronic repair OCD" lol it really isn't that huge of a deal.

I don't personally see why anyone would want to repair everything all at once, however; again I wouldn't be against a "armory chest: repair all" function and they already have an Inventory repair all function. That would just be 3 categories "Equipped: repair all" "Armory Chest: Repair all" "Inventory: repair all"

I don't really understand why they split it up by armor type (arms, legs , feet etc..) that always seemed weird to me, it makes sense as a filter if you don't want to repair everything though.

Despite it being relatively off topic I don't think it is needed at all for self repairing. (However it prob uses the same UI) I rarely even use "repair all equipped" on a crafter repair.

In short I'm for an "Armory Chest: repair all" button, but NOT a "Repair all gear everywhere" button.

not really. if they made me choose between the repair all items on armoury crate and another function that would benefit me the most, like desynth all, i would choose the latest, hands down.
i do not see the need of this function.
i do not think it would improve game play that much, however at the same time, i can see it wont hurt others gameplay either.
AND i can understand why someone would want it.
