Simple her real name is Kururu Kuru but she has Krile as a nickname. the "Baldesion" part may or may not be a title, or she may be the child of a Lalafell and Hyur (like Hilda is born of Hyur and Elezen)I don't think she will die. It's becoming such a trend for people to assume that main characters will die, ever since of what happened recently in the MSQ.
What's weird about Krile is her name. It's not a name fitting for a Lalafell at all.
Although, Krile's japanese name in (FF V) is Kururu. I wonder how the localization team will handle that.

There is still the title aspect though, and that is assuming that SE would intend "Baldesion" to be part of the title.

Yes, the thing is her original japanese name fits a Lala perfectly. Her english, not so much.
About the voice: Check the japanese version. In 2.5 Lucia's narration was changed to Urianger's narration in the English version.

Comparing the VAs between different languages is always good (especially since I heard the JP cast didnt' change as much) but I wanted to point out that German and French both also have Urianger open 2.5 as well![]()

I have had some ideas about this! In FFV, Krile is actually the princess of the kingdom of Bal. Well, we know from Minfilia that FFXIV's Krile is from the Isle of Val. Val and Bal are spelled the same in Japanese. The Isle of Val has "disappeared" ...while that may have been a metaphor for being destroyed, it could be literal, as one of the major happenings in FFV is towns and areas of the map being sucked into the Void.
In FFV, Krile also has special telepathic powers that others do not, allowing her to communicate with dragons and moogles, as well as sense when things were happening. In FFXIV terms, that ability is essentially the Echo. So I'm betting Krile will have the Echo also.
As for being a Lala, Krile in FFV was a child, while the other main characters were older. So I'm betting her being a Lalafell is just a stylistic choice.
EDIT: Also, I'm somewhat concerned that Krile is in her WHM outfit. I mean, I know it's kind of her signature look, buuuut.... what with Y'Shtola having a Doom counter over her head due to the "aether sight" thing, I'm afraid the Scions may be replacing a WHM soon.

Those are actually pretty good points, and I'd say her strong relations with Minfilia makes it more possible that she has the Echo.
Anyway, I believe she's a Lalafell is to poke fun over her japanese name, which is Kururu, which sounds like a Lalafell name already.

Well one of the quests is called the dying of the light....
Thank you all for your answers. I would have probably thought about watching the japanese trailer myself had I not been so tired yesterday -.-
Actually, it's 'Against the Dying of the Light'. For me, that doesn't nescessarily sounds like someone will die. I don't know, it could be related to the WoD, maybe? And that darkness grows stronger and endangers light or something?
I wouldn't interprete too much into it, anyways.
And about Shtola... she's pretty much XIV's mascot. You normally don't kill your mascot, right?
I, at least, don't expect her to die anytime soon, especially not since she just came back and all.
