The biggest issue is that this game was not created for experienced MMO players to begin with, 2.0 was redesigned to draw in and make money off of Final Fantasy Fans first and foremost.
The biggest quality**
The only issue here is migrating players from WoW, Tera and whatever mmo you can think off nowadays wanting to change it.
totally agree but theres also a large portion of the community that cannot take a smidge of constructive critism, they will play the way they want and thats it. So yea it goes both ways....Maybe those DPS would perform better if they were helped rather then tossed out like trash cause they cant perform. (insulted, vote kicked etc)
Now sure i have read my fair share of "they refuse to learn" topics on this forum but I'm more willing to believe that people simply are not willing to teach and rather just blame others for not getting better on their own.
Oh I had to say this is true. I never met JP people who do bad thing in DF like people mention in forum. (Unless it's people with E language on). When my neighbor want to do A1S together as learning party (even they already clear it, some not) They not really blame someone that cause wipe (Like people complain what elitist say). The result is we almost clear it with Oppresor HP around 20% ish.
You keep using my quote but I digress the original game was intended for experienced MMO players and they "Changed the Formula" so for all your usage of my quote you forgot to mention they screwed over the original player base. It's not WoW or Tera players coming here it the Legacies who feel cheated by this. The biggest issue is that this game was not created for experienced MMO players to begin with, 2.0 was redesigned to draw in and make money off of Final Fantasy Fans first and foremost.

I played on a NA server for a while and can agree that there are a lot of people who simply won't accept anyone new or even give people a chance. However, there's a time and a place to do so.
Players should be encouraged to help eachother out. I'm always joining learning parties, helping with clears, teaching people fights.. Whether it be for my FC or a random person, but at the same time I don't pay a subscription to purely help other people. I want to enjoy the game for myself too, and if sometimes I want to do something without having to teach people, I shouldn't be pressured or obligated to.
It's a fine balance of being kind and helping others, but others should also accept that people don't play the game to mentor. Both arguments are valid however you look at it.
so maybe North Americans should learn to treat other North Americans like how the Japanese treat other Japanese players.
Because final fantasy fan's can't be experienced mmo players too? FF11 brought over a lot of hardcore MMO players too. Get out of here with these divisive claims about outsiders wanting to change your precious game. The biggest issue is that this game was not created for experienced MMO players to begin with, 2.0 was redesigned to draw in and make money off of Final Fantasy Fans first and foremost.

As soon as other NA players become considerate of other people's time and show up prepared, just like JP players do when they pug.
huh....... ff14 1.0 wasn't designed for experienced mmo players...... it was a cash grab for devs (as devs admited) I'm a ff14 1.0 player as well i don't feel cheated. You are infact coming off like a typical WoW player.... looking up my lodestone and assuming things about me is a huge sign of that. You keep using my quote but I digress the original game was intended for experienced MMO players and they "Changed the Formula" so for all your usage of my quote you forgot to mention they screwed over the original player base. I will start caring about what the wannabe hardcore raiders in this game think when SE makes actual raids and end game content. Wow's raids put ff14 wannabe raids to shame. Ulduar and ICC and Naxrammus were the best raiding experience I have ever done.
My longer view is here

I will start doing savage mode stuff when they remove the stupid raid timer and give us back the actual raids back. There is NO WAY I will be ok with SE making 3-4 bosses per wannabe "raid" when Wow gives us 12-16 bosses per raid + trash.
