They have more respect for themselves and other players' time imo. Let's say I'm a red mage looking for a leveling group in XI and I'm in high demand. I'm looking to grind all day long and one japanese talks to me with auto translate about going with his party for 1 hour. At the same time, an english speaking player asks me to join his party for 'long time' exping. You know which one I'll pick? The JP's offer, even if it means that I'll have to look for another party in one hour. Why? Because even if it's for one hour, it'll be a solid experience through and through. If I pick the english speaker? I will almost always get someone afking on me with their 'brb smoke' crap and then they just sit there for like half an hour leeching xp. This gets even worse when leveling methods shifted to alliance leveling and people would just afk without notice to leech xp.

I even had someone from our FC randomly AFK when my FC's only static were looking to regroup in SCOB and train interested members up from t6 again (even though we were in t9 already). No word what so ever and he just suddenly stopped moving. When he responded many minutes later, we found out that he's making cakes or whatever for dinner. In the middle of t6. We asked him if he could stop that and let us finish t6 first and he flatly said no and afk'd again! Zero remorse. We went through a few more of 'helping acquaintances get through t5 and learn t6-8 all over again' just so we can give t9 a shot but it all ended up the same: people just don't give a crap about other people's time. This even applied to our T9 winning group that went on fcob again. It's almost amazing how we even got through that. Like really? "I forgot it was friday and thought it was thursday so I just slept through"? I'm the only one in the group that wasn't on an american time zone and had to raid in the morning my time and even if my schedule is flexible enough to raid any day, that's just screwed up.

I'm also gonna say that the anti parser sentiment also applies to this. A third party parser will probably still be more detailed and analyzable than whatever SE can provide but people's resistance towards it just shows that they would rather see everyone's time wasted than be hold accountable when it's shown that they can't be bothered to try.
