No point in catering to the professional endgamers, SE. They'll never be happy as long as the other 90% of your clientele are able to progress through content.
FC Airships will enable a third difficulty level for the explorations as well as the possibility of getting a 24 player raid to go on an island at once. Then I would think the airship content would be appealing for you. It's not like you need to have an FC to do it, though I don't know if there are perks to having one. It appears to be content to just kill mobs, with some mechanics that'll require a bit of attention, I'm sure... at least for the harder ones.
Depending on the actual difficulty of the content and the rewards, this hardest mode might me the more interesting one, thus taking at least one of the 4 FC airship, and up to three.

Need more cake boss.

Exploratory missions are super recyclable. I think this is the most repeatable kind of battle content we've ever had.
Gear drops with random stats so you could keep going and going for the perfect drop, and because the item levels are relevant and it's convertable, you could wear stuff you don't want without gimping yourself much for materia farming. Raid gear from the next tier of Alexander will have materia slots, so yeah, have at it. Stuff to do.

The new beastribe quest alone is quite big enough for me as it add more daily routine.

I think a lot hinges on exploritory missions. It's a decent sized patch though. Of course I want more, I will always want more. And I definately want more lvl 60 content, there is so little right now.

I want hunts to be relevant again.
