We've been over this in detail in the dedicated threads about wanting male characters to have the same treatment as female ones. We're actually losing out on a lot more than just the handful of locked dresses; the 'female only' label is liberally used on items such as shoes and hats which are gender-locked for no reason with no male equivalent. Even setting aside the sexiness of this particular pose, there's a real risk that it would be yet another case where the female characters get something new and the males get... nothing.
(Also, the Japanese side of the forums has a similar bunch of people complaining that guys are being treated unfairly, with far less infighting, so it's not entirely a cultural issue.)
