I know how it works, its who you know and kicked after 3 strikes, maybe that's why so many are still stuck on floor 3 and probably have their achievements blocked for savage coil.

No clearly you don't know how it works. I've been in quite a few different static groups across many games including this one and booting raid members because they make mistakes in encounters while learning them almost never happens. Mistakes happen on raid encounters and they end up causing wipes. Changing the roster constantly throws off your group dynamic. The reason its called a static is because they are taking pretty much the same roster along most of the time.

The reason so few haven't done savage coil is because there was very little incentive to do it and most were content to just complete normal coil.

Seriously, you haven't ever done savage so how do you 'know how it works'?

Just about every savage group learning party has stability issues with members and falls apart due to common reasons, a duty finder will easily patch them up since those who leave can be replaced easily in mid fight, and most players know this because df as been known to have newbies in fights. Pf isn't so friendly now that I think about it. :/
