The 5AE civilizations almost definitely knew about the Allagans, given they weren't around too long ago and they left crap everywhere. Still, I don't get the feeling the Void Ark is a retrofitted Allagan vessel.
Actually between the weapons, furniture (you can check that out either on MB or the Fractal) and the ADS nodes, I thought the Allagins were in love with the tron lines on black aesthetics more than the chrome. Still dosn't make the Void Ark as refurbished Allag vessel theory more likely but still....
