Swiftcast doesn't necessarily have to be a one trick pony skill.

No, but it is limited to summoning faeries, raise, stoneskin, and shadow flare, depending on situation for SCH.

Typically I won't swift a stoneskin, but yes at 60, swifting adlo is almost absurd in your thought process (Its very useful, just low in priority with access to Lustrate) as opposed to AST who have very little that could use a swift aside from Raise, so Ben II become a real save the day option. xD

Yeah, I find that those whom hold Swiftcast to the chest for the pre-convienced "it's a raise only use" don't always take advantage of the idea that it's a 60s CD.

The majority of the time where you know you got a DPS push, Swift Shadowflare like a Summoner. Fairy swap for a phase change. At some point you have to get comfortable expecting your raid is going to play not to die but to win.

Also Swift Adlo. That was a thing back in Turn 10 days for SCH to solo double preys. That was a shielding mechanic so lustrate was not an option unless you failed to shield them and they got the paralysis.

I completely for got about T10 with swift adlo, but that did get quickly replaced with Fey Illumination + Succor when properly geared.

TBH, it sounds like the OP just doesn't like healing in this game and is just shooting down everyone's suggestions.

Incoming damage in this game is so low, that only healing is a waste of MP and time.

If you want to be a good SCH in end game (or any part of the game tbh) you should; dps as much as possible (with an ok tank you don't even need to heal in ex dungeons), fairy swap as needed to get optimal results, use ALL of your toolkit (this includes Swiftcast), not be afraid to push your co-healer (their class IS capable of solo healing, they may just need practice).

This is not a game like XI, where one missed heal will kill your group, you will have alot of down time, so learn to use it.

Love how this implies "hey get good at solo healing so I can get good at DPSing" XD.

Behind every 1k+ dps tanks/SCH, there's that 1 fella trying to keep things alive, while the things themselves are trying their best to get themselves killed for the sake of more dps.

Seriously tho, screw Savage Alex and all dem DPS checks.

That is exactly what it implies, because that is what is required of you as a SCH.
