Hush! don't give them ideas! But yeah, the beard is just wishful thinking but hopfully it's included in the set if/when it become available for purchase
While doubtful, adolescent Cid's clothes look pretty good also from the brief flash back we saw of it:

I could see them making the outfit male exclusive. Sadly, I would expect a thread...or two...or fifty from a bunch of people with female characters claiming that they feel left out/excluded. I need not explain why that would be hilarious.
As a female, I'd argue for it to be male-only.
It'd be nice to give the guys some fun.

Their argument would be that it's an iconic final fantasy character and they shouldn't be locked out of it because of that.
I say this because the Gambler's outfit had the same issue - marketed as male only and MAN was the backlash on that violent.
The Gambler's set was never marketed as male only though, it was just shown on a male and people assumed that it would be only for males even though they showed it on a female Roe not too long after.
Mm. It felt marketed as male only? I mean the initial pictures were men in gamblers / women in bunny outfits.
Which led to the massive topic of how women felt discriminated against.
Which shortly thereafter saw the release of that picture (very possibly a tactical choice)
I suppose it's pure semantical if you want to call it advertised.
I´d love to make my DRG look like this ^^

Never a mind was changed on an internet board, no matter how good your arguments are...
That includes the beard by the way.
Right now, females are SOL in the beard department. It's time things get changed!
When I think about it, just give the clothes to men and the beard to women.

I don't like the Gambler's set myself (due to some of it not being dyeable), nor do I like the bunny outfit because I don't like the playboy look, but I can see the argument there. I mean, if females got the armour of Livia sas Junius while males got a stripper outfit I don't see the male player base being too happy either. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The bunny outfit should be usable by males though, the tank Roe sporting pink undies has gotten a little tired, they could do with a new look.Mm. Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.
