Why do you taunt us DRG's so?

There's almost no excuse now for why DRG's don't have a wyvern fighting alongside them.

You mean aside from the excuse of, "This isn't XI."? XI is the only Final Fantasy that had Dragoons with pet wyverns. All other incarnations their gimmick was being a heavy damage jumper. That said, you're far enough in the story that you do have a wyvern pet, it's just the purest form of a pet in that it's just a pet.
