    They've already suffered a dent in customers. If you think there are as many people playing now as there were 3 months ago, you really don't live in the real world.
    They suffer dents when content takes a while to come out, Much like 2.0 it took about 4 months before this game got it's 1st patch and people unsubbed till then, people get bored of content, stop playing, this is how MMOs work, It looks like it is you who does not understand how this works. Of course there was more people 3 months ago, HW was a brand new expansion, and everything was fresh content for people to do.
