Will the XI team actually add to the game if they join XIV's team? Not if yoship can help it.
XIV team made content in 1.xx? Into the trash.
XIV team made content for 3.1? Let's butcher it.

As a customer, you are entitled because you're paying for a service. There's absolutely no reason to side with for-profit corporations rather than your own interests.i act like a human being 1st, unless you're incapable of mistakes and human error, Entitlement is a arsehole trait, regardless of how you try to coat it. i hope in your life you're never even 5 minutes late for any payments and you're cut off entirely because it wasn't "on time" But you as well as the other "i'm better" dude that wrote that can cancel should mistakes and things coming up is all kinds of unacceptable to you, Also, when you signed up for this game, you actually agreed that these type of things are going to happen and you accepted it. For all reasons they can just take you account and there is nothing you can do about it.
In fact you two seem like the type that will walk into a fast food place and if they get your order wrong you pull out a gun.
It'd be nice if some of the FFXI team members work in FFXIV and try to have some influence in the direction the game is going to go. Of course Yoshi has the last word so he could blatantly say no to those suggestions. I understand he has a vision and he wants this game to follow that vision of his but at what cost. If the playerbase isn't happy there's something being done wrong. There could always be a balance between the two.
So if you go into a restaurant (fast food or not), and you are informed that due to understaffing (for example) your order will take longer than usual, you'll threaten them with never coming back again if your food is ever "late" again, saying that since you're a paying customer you're entitled to getting your food on time -- despite them warning you that it will take longer than usual.
And we'd all be better for it if SE stopped thinking of us as human beings playing their games and started acting like a 'proper' business and only saw us as a source of money. *nodnod*
(Relating to the other part of a business agreement goes both ways, you know...)

I love the level of service and asskissery people feel entitled to for $15 a month. "I'm a paying costumer!!!!" Yeah bro you just bought lunch.....
We "get gud" for our $15. The game is pretty, the people that play are nice and fun to chat with. The problem with the slow coming content is only a problem if you are head first into this game that its super important. Its not, its a game, enjoy it or find one you do.
..... Now SE, since I just white-knighted up for you.... how about that Phoenix mount? ^_^
Oh god, please no. There is literally not ONE thing XI had that I wish would be in XIV. More staff is nice for faster patches, sure, but please leave any outdated suggestions out of my game.
Can we please get Naoshi Mizuta working on some XIV music again?

I agree, and honestly, this is the first big break between patches we've had for XIV, its not like WoW where you can be waiting upto a year for more content. The devs worked hard for their holidays, we got a whole load of content before Heavensward came out, then Heavensward itself. I hope they plan it out a bit better for 4.0, but this was their first proper expansion, you gotta expect missteps.
This is horrible advice now that houses can be lost so easily. What people forget that the devs focused more on fixing bugs/balance new classes/skills after the release of 3.0. No worries about the next patches 3.1 and 3.15 isnt far away and 3months till 3.2 isnt long too. Dont have fun? Take a break. Some players get burned out faster than others thats it.
The cash shop would like to have a word with you. Marriages, Dyes, Minions, Retainers, and much more show what SE thinks of us. They stick exclusive content/items in the cash shop. SE also refuses to solve the growing inventory issue other than recommending that we spend more money on their game.So if you go into a restaurant (fast food or not), and you are informed that due to understaffing (for example) your order will take longer than usual, you'll threaten them with never coming back again if your food is ever "late" again, saying that since you're a paying customer you're entitled to getting your food on time -- despite them warning you that it will take longer than usual.

They already treat us like a suckling pig, you are being willfully ignorant if you think otherwise.
I agree. If you're paying with your hard earned cash for this game, it's perfectly fine to expect a high level of service. I can't think of a single service industry where people should be content and returning customers with sub par service for the same reoccurring price.

A car accident would be completely out of my control. Telling the entire staff to take a month off isn't.Perhaps you should actually learn some compassion, The dev teams are humans, just like we all are, mistakes happen and sometimes things do not come out on time or work out as planned. if you are off to work and get in a car accident and your boss says "oh? to bad, you should have been here, you're fired" you won't be so happy about that will you, that entitled attitude is one of the reasons they don't take NA side seriously
There are businesses all across the world filled with people working hard. People take vacations, but the work doesn't stop. You don't shut down production and send everyone home. Maybe a couple of guys are off this week. Everyone else works around their absence. When they come back a couple more can take off. You work out a schedule so people can get their time off, while minimizing the effect on production. That's how it works in the real world.
I sit down in a restaurant and order a steak. 2 hours later it still hasn't arrived. I ask the waiter what's going on and he replies "Our chef staff has worked really hard today, and they needed a break." I'm not being entitled, nor do I lack compassion, when I get up and walk out.
