Had 2 bards yesterday in nevereap and none of them wanted to use wanderer's minuet. But they sure as hell used foe requiem on every monsters they could see even though we did not have any magical dpsers. I mean, I understand WM isn't their favorite skill right now, but a 50 minutes run in nevereap is never a good thing.

So yeah, I agree with op.

Worst part is FFXIV makes it super easy to know what does what... most mmos make you do some math to figure out what is actually the most damage/heals/whatever. The potency system is great for making this simple yet people still can't figure it out.

I see drgs who don't use positional attacks or their buffs. I see monks that don't use positional attacks and just throw out whatever they feel like. I have seen many ice mages. Two days ago I had a ruin Smn in neverreap who was complaining that the run was going slow. Bards who refuse to turn off ballad... the list goes on but there are people that are so bad I can only assume they have a very serious mental illness or are very high.

In my experience bards are the worst offenders in DF. I assume its because Bard is already a low dps job so when you add baddie on top and you have two of them in the group it becomes the run you remember.

Oh please get over it. I've been playing for over two years and don't have the issues you all seem to have. Sorry but these rants daily on the forum aren't new and don't contribute anything.

if you lose your sh!t over small things like occasionaly extended dungeon run times because of your personal time constraints/schedule, then you should probably stop playing MMOs and find hobbies/games that will suit your time.

Hmmmm had ice mages, had paper tanks, had healers that used cross classed healing spells(cure on sch, physick on whm)... had tanks that couldn't hold aggro worth anything on a single mob, much less on groups(and it certainly wasn't due to the gear or their stance...). Don't think I've run into a ruin summoner though that's a new one for me. Even had SMNs/BLMs healing instead of DPSing at times because the tank was hitting 50% health...

maybe people, just spit ballin here, ya know, could play their class? People don't want world class play here, they are just asking for basic rotations. If you're cool with ruin spam smns or ice blm, then you can give them their maroon participation ribbon. I am more than happy to tell them their performance is on the low side and where they can find guides to improve.

O.o Clearly I'm doing terrible on my BRD, I only manage 950 DPS on a training dummy over a 4 minute pass... and it's got i170 gear and a few 190 pieces. Not even a 1000 damage per second per second bard. :/

Also, I can hold aggro on so many Players whilst in DPS stance on my tank perfectly fine using taunts, does that count? Cause if you mean mobs I don't think taunting or insulting them would generate any aggro, considering they can't read the chat log and there's no "Taunt" in this game. There is Provoke, but um... if you call that Taunt, maybe you're the one who should... *clears throat* GIT GUD!!!

i would worry about myself messing up my own rotations rather than to stress myself worrying about other's. actually, i'd be more upset if you won't respond when i say, "hi", during dungeons runs.

Here is another one, the chaos thrust dragoon. Used nothing but chaos the entire run. Literally just pressed one button. Someone kicked him after the 2nd boss though. Was in Ampador Keep hard. Doing this is outright lazy, maybe if he was doing a 3 button combo nobody would of noticed, but chaos thrust has a pretty distinctive animation to it.
