Another definite "no" on glamour log.

We asked for housing reclamation they delivered we cry. We asked for easier accessible "Coil" they delivered we cry, we asked for easier content/harder content they delivered we cry. Most probably Yoshi needs to rethink some aspects. Inventory will be improved eventually just don't expect it soon but it will happen it's inevitable. Ofc I wish they could do it just now.

The problem is "sometimes" has been becoming "often", or even "more often than not" lately, and in regards to core game elements at that. Core game elements that are being negatively affected by "sometimes" (or indeed "often") - and always with the same "reasoning" too, I mean how long will we keep on going without improvement? Are we expected to just keep rolling with everything as it is down the whole lifetime of the game? (I know I'm extrapolating, but that is how it feels "sometimes".)

I wouldn't say that. They generally have implemented most of the stuff they promise. Storage is something they have said for a long time is 'we will see'. Im not saying it's good but its not like this is a sudden change.

This isn't also somehow across the board either. People act like SE doesn't listen at all but sometimes they just decide that an idea doesn't fit the game or isn't feasible with current resources.

Personally I expect the issue it the latter one. That doesn't make it better but unfortunately is a flaw of FF14 we have to live with at the moment. Getting up set over it when they have repeatedly said over and over again that its not something easy for them to fix means people aren't listening to them. There's a difference between pressuring SE on the subject and getting upset that some how they haven't suddenly changed everything they have said up to now.

Also, sometimes excuses, wether people are tired of them or not, are valid.

Maybe when they remove the stupid PS3 limitations we may get this... because many other games have it and this one not. It's clear as day that PS3 support is affecting greatly the development of the game. They may want to add this or that but then go check if there is space to add in PS3 and give up as soon they look at value. Is true the fact that this expansion alone is making PS3 game about to explode... imagine when they add more. That's why they may remove the support on 4.0 since we are being bind to a system from 2006! It 's 10 years from current technology and the game being a AAA that 's unforgivable.

To everyone saying that retainers are part of what yoshi-p considers inventory I will point this out. The retainers actually reside on a separate server to everything else hence why you can have so many of them and their data isn't as critical and if I had to guess is on cheaper slower access disk(read non-solid state). The inventory Yoshi-P is referring to is your personal inventory. Saying that it might be an easier solution rather than a glamour system you could change at will tie it into the retainers which have far less restrictions on them due to the systems that are in place. for example you deposit an item into your glamour retainer which then makes it available while talking to that retainer to glamour that item or any it has "stored".

I feel sorry for ps3 users but it's true, SE itself said many times "ps3 limitations" for a dozen of questions/ideas of the community and our experience in game could be so much better. How can they develop the game like that, if they ported ff14 on ps3 it was just for gainning some money, they known they will be in trouble concerning this kind of stuff like limitation of datas but they needed money like every companies. For the game, they should abandon the ps3, for ps3 users, that's sux.

We can only hope that after they drop ps3 the game will be improved enough to warrant the investment in PS4. I am interested how will they motivate current PS3 players enough to continue their support.

Couldnt we have a quick fix like...enable mailing between characters on your account. Then it's just a matter of leveling and alt and using them as a mule.

I know they disable trading between your own characters as to prevent it being abused but...what really could happen?? People are managing to get 2 billion gil without it.

Or why not just give us 2 free retainers are part of buying Heavensward.

I get the general complaint is "because its making them money" not to fix the problem but if we want it bad enough maybe we can get it? :S

Bottom line is they need to fix the problem, and they are not. They keep giving excuses and its frustrating to say the least. Every other mmo ive EVER PLAYED has never had inventory issues like this. I dont understand why this one has this glaring problem. Maybe they should rethink how they track inventory.

They shoud take a look at Guildwars 2 to learn how an inventory shoud be.

And yet they took other stuff from GW2, unless I'm mistaken, like these 'awesome' FATES (Dynamic Events lol) among some, and now they want to introduce 'jumping puzzles'

So yeah, just like some glamour stuff now, I begin to feel as well that the Cash Shop is becoming more and more.. present, just like Y'shtola Hairstyle, Minfillia Equipement, etc..

i wouldnt mind if i have to hit the GLAMOUR NPC in order to change my glamour from a list of "obtained already" gear...and im sure all the ppl that is asking for glamor log wont mind either.

Something needs to be done about it , period
