So in a way, yes... though not sure. If you obtain ALL of the Zeta only the DRK, MCH, and AST would have to be started initially.

If you've already completed a Zeta weapon, you’ll be able to get an advantage towards an Anima weapon of your choice. If you’ve completed two Zeta weapons, you’ll be able to get an advantage towards two Anima weapons.

Anyway, they said first step will be easy and Yoshida himself does not recommend to start relic now if you only are doing it for bonus.

This is the part i was confused on, should i just skip it all or get to to a low stage, say post Animus (book phase) for the bonus.

Pretty sure you will only get the bonus if you have a completed zeta weapon.

Even though a Zeta grind has been nerfed a lot it's still a huge gil and time sink. This anima weapon stage one will not be a huge effort so if the only reason to get a zeta is to skip the first stage it's not worth the effort and you'll be better off just starting the new relic from scratch.

If you actually want a Zeta and don't mind the time and gil cost then by all means go for it.
