YOU are the tank, you decide when it's time to proceed to the next mob. If they think they can do without a tank, let them experience how well they do without one.
I can't believe that it's always the players who talk big about looking out for each other, who end up reinforcing dickish behaviour in other players because they don't let them taste the consequences for NOT looking out for their party members...*sigh*

In the end, Kabooa is right that there should never be a situation where you pull with no/close to no MP, because that means you already failed at the most basic job of the tank, which is leading the party and setting the pace.

Yet again, irrelevant to the point. Regardless, I wasn't disagreeing with anything Kabooa said. I gave an example of what can happen. It has already been brought up multiple times how this will usually be a "figure it out on the first pull thing."

People already gave some suggestions etc... on that situation, and DreamWeaver explained how there is a ramp up to WHM starting a holy bomb too.

The run was an example of what CAN happen in DF, nothing more nothing less. Don't read into it so much.
