I want it. Hundred times better than the Armor from WoW or oher Asian MMOs like Tera.
In FF 14, I can at least say: Yes, that is an Armor you would actually really wear and its not a 100 tons, 1 meter high Shoulder Armor Bullshit.
You guys are asking way too much work if you want SE to give all 13 classes different looking gear. Gear sharing is nothing new to the FF series so what is the big deal? Hell, gear sharing is pretty damn common in RPGs.
I'm getting sick of farming for the old crappy gear period. I am tire of this vertical climb in gear. Sure the content is new and shiny but that will get stale so quick. I would really love for the devs to step out of their boxes (cubicles) for once and bring out relic gear. But not just any standard stat gear. I want to see spirit bonding traits on the gear that will boost the jobs performance to the max... like adding 5% to 10% pierce damage boost on bows, or perhaps a trait that eliminates the pointless enochium timer on blms but still have to use bliz 4 after bliz 3 to activate it....ect..... I am tired of being held down by stupid timers and weak boring stats. We literally got zero new traits from 50 to 60. Give us something that will make our job feel less clunky and boost the performance of the jobs.
Tired of the same old cookie cutter designs we see in MMO's... Step it up SE.... you are way better than this....
Were numbers invented or discovered? How many Moogles does it take to make Kuponut rum? Answer: zero... They will give you a quest to make it.
If BLM and SMN get unique sets then all the other jobs that currently share gear sets with other jobs would also want unique sets and then they'd end up having to make 13 sets for for the 8/24 man raid of the patch and another 13 for the dungeon sets (2.4 was the only patch in 2.x to not get new sets in the new dungeons) making it 26 sets every patch. Not only do I doubt SE would be able to create that many sets in the 3 month period between patches, I also doubt people would actually want it when they realize how stuffed the loot tables would be making it impossible to get those new pieces they want.I really wish they would make it so that smn and BLM would have their own gear instead of grouping them up under the group heading caster. That to me is lazy. Besides which not everything that is good for a BLM is gonna be good for a SMN unlike healers. So to me they should fix that first.
I think their faces speak for themselves:
"Same ol' crap."
"Am I really wearing this?"
"Why SE??"
Jokes aside, I mostly like them but the general designs are kinda getting a bit repetitive;
Robes for tanks/healers, same looking stuff for caster, white healer gear, etc. :c

Dat lalafells face doe
Lets be honest... that's not the most belts we've seen on a caster.
Well, the main thing people are tired of is the fact that those who already have separate gearsets (whether it be MNK, Casters, Tanks, or others) keep having to share what that gearset looks like with one or more other gearsets. That doesn't mean asking for 13 different gearsets, but just that the gearsets that currently are get something to differ them from another gearset instead of simply a colour change.
Something that comes to mind that wouldn't take a ton of effort, for example, would be to mirror the design in addition to palette swap. So the one-sided shoulderpad is on the right instead of on the left shoulder, or the satchels and dagger are hanging on the opposite side. Yes, that kind of thing would also be a "lazy shortcut", but it would be something more, at least.
(Of course, I'd prefer if they did more separate designs to gearsets -- not 13 different gearsets, but that the currently shared gearsets at least get their own design -- but I can understand that they have a lot to do already ^^; )
