African american hair can have terrible texture..just depends on what you got

source: me my hair texture is ugh but my SISTER gets perfect African hair. unfair.

I have a coarse grade myself but I just loc't it which was a match made in heaven. I use to have braids and cornrowls but combing through it with a tender head was hell. I'm just hoping she literally not running around here with a curl lol.

Haa wish I could get myself to do that... I usually straighten mine but...effort...
not to mention I have to get it relaxed to straighten it and that's well, not cheap.

lol not trying to turn this into a rl hair thread, but 2 strand twist...retwist with loc cream every couple of weeks and wash with a non-residue shampoo and you pretty much have your lvl 60 roation down. ; )
