FFXIV 2nd expansion: Viera-like race still a possibility?

I wouldn't be opposed to Veira, but so help me if they make them cutesy and frail like the poor Au Ra. That concept art for the female Au Ra was awesome How did we go from that to what we have now?

They should do the reverse then and make a race with fierce woman and cutesy man! :"D
