Would also be nice if we could pick a specific job for each instance we checkmark. For example, at the beginning of the week I toss A1-A4 into queue all at once, and since my main is tank that's usually what I play. However, A2 is just a shitfest for tanks (and really fun for DPS) so I'd rather queue dps for that. So my duty finder would look like this:
Fist of the Father (DRK), Cuff of the Father (SMN), Arm of the Father (DRK), Burden of the Father (DRK).

We don't have a support role, and currently cannot change jobs while in a dungeon, so that is kind of a moot point. :P
But I agree that it is done in Rift, a lot. Unless the Support is a new player and doesn't have other souls set up. But that's typically only seen in the really low levels.

Would be too complicated to code. It'd be nice, but I'd rather not overwork the system with that regardless.

Many keep thinking that it wouldn't really work cause those whom queued as Tank would just get that. But as one person pointed out, even with the AiN as tank... they'd get a faster queue on healer.

If you're levelling, chances are you're actually queuing specifically. As the chance of getting something like Satasha or Tam Tara for levelling roulette is too high. Which isn't worth it if you're grinding via dungeons. (Which only those who are tired of FATEs will do, on a DPS class anyway. Queue times are fast enough to make it worth dungeon grinding for tanks and healers.)

This really only impacts the ROULETTE... which is fine, imo. Cause if you're running roulette, more often than not you're running it for the rewards, not the experience. And having multiple people queuing for multiple roles will actually bring down the percentage of the time it ends up being tank. Many times I'd queue as Tank/Heal or Tank/DPS on my Paladin in WoW and it was about 50-50 on which I'd get. (But then, I played Horde on the highest population data center... which may have made a difference. But I cannot say for certain as I don't have any way to confirm.)

Yes please, I'd love to see this implemented!

This might sound a bit silly, but personally I have a tough time forcing myself to queue as a tank specifically - my anxiety tends to get the best of me at times, so I sometimes just get intimidated and end up avoiding roulette-ing my tank altogether... Having a system where I can just toss in multiple jobs/roles and leave it up to chance would lift a bit of the pressure off for me, and certainly make me more likely to fill in as a tank (or occasionally something else) based on what's needed at the time.

I fail to see the point of this. If you queue for tank + dps, you're gonna tank. If you queue heal + dps, you're gonna heal. If you queue tank + heal, you're probably gonna tank.

That relates to what others were getting at earlier - by giving players the ability to queue as multiple (or all) roles, the chance of getting queued as a tank vs. other roles /could/ go some way to evening out more regularly. I'm not sure how much of an effect it would have in practice, since there's likely always going to be more tanks and heals in need than DDs, but it's likely to have some level of impact on who gets put where.

You would probably never see A2 until you finished the other three.
