Were you using foes? If he was stance dancing, he might have been grumpy that you weren't boosting his damage.

So... could anyone explain what being carried means?

Your absolute biggest damage boost comes from your weapon - you would have been better off spending your law/seals on that upgrade first. Likely your damage was much lower than he had seen before.

Had a not-first-time tank in castrum today doing single pulls and not pulling to cannons.. and when the mobs got in range, letting the big guys cleave them. He kept calling for LB2 on the third boss, and so we didn't even have that for the big final pull. Ugh. At least the DPS knew about cannons..

Lvling nin get into vault had a bard I kind of cringe realizing aoe won't be as good as a caster and my AOEs are non existent well this bard refused to use WM so I felt like solo dps the whole dungeon my fingers were hurting at the end and then the tank says "you guys suck at dps learn your rotations" I was mad lol we still finished in 30mins with my dps since the bard wasn't doing shet lol

Next vault run I look at the party list good group here but I notice something was off the PLD had 8800 hp I was confused as I had more hp as the tank in the vault so I examined him and he was wearing lvl 50-54 gears with str accs which isn't bad if his gear was up to date....the poor healer struggled to keep him alive we couldn't beat the last boss cause the hits were taking to much of his hp....but that healer deserved those comms if we had made it

Got fractal for ex roulette last night.. I decided to go with my recently 60 DRG. It's at i165 with the upgraded law weapon, a few alex normal pieces, and the rest crafted level 56 gear.. so not great. I also just got geirskogul right before queueing, and I've only been doing roulettes (except not leveling) and hunts to level.. so not much practice keeping botd up. The other DPS was a DRG with all but one left side piece i200 (I think the belt was i190?), but I didn't check his right side. The healer was a WHM at min ilvl, so my tank-friend decided to do single pulls.

I was always way above him in threat, and I was constantly screwing up the rotation and breaking combos/dropping botd. My friend was running a parse.. I was 736 on the final boss and the other DRG was 512. We couldn't decide if he was just angry about the single pulls and was throwing a fit, or if he actually did main DRG and was just that bad at the job..

then i realize i was standing on the purple border and got knock out after 15sec
i feel so sorry for the other 3 teammate becoz i m being stupid at that boss

Saw the same healer 3 times in a row... regen spam/ medica spam/ cleric stance 'healed' when they had under 1000MP and wiped us 4 times the first run.
Stagnant healing randomly, pulling randomly and undergeared.... gave them a chance 2nd and 3rd time, gave up both times.

Saddest part is explaining what was wrong and they did not listen. Not even a bot

Had an AV where the DRK would not use Darkside and the healer would only use Cure as their spell, no Medica in AoE situations, and would just CONSTANTLY Cure spam (not even Regen). Needless to say, they had MP issues, so I found myself singing Mage's Ballad quite a whole lot. We get to the first boss, I finally run out of MP with the boss at half health, leading the healer to run out of MP faster than you can clear Ifrit normal mode with a level 60, aaaaaaand we wipe. I tell the DRK to use Darkside and use his defensive cooldowns because the healer is having horrible MP issues, and tell the healer that they'd have a much easier time if they used Regen on the tank and Medica in AoE situations instead of individually using Cure 1 on 4 party members, as well as not using Cure whenever the tank falls below 99% HP. I get ignored, we try the boss fight again, WHM continues to treat his MP bar like a hot dog eating contest, and DRK proceeds to not activate Darkside or use a single defensive cooldown, calls the party "scrubs", and leaves. I've never been happier to see a tank go.

I'm in Neverreap ex roulette and am still loading, entire group seems to be a premade besides me on my wife's BLM, as soon as my screen loads my son pulls my plug, literally. Lol

I finally get booted up, logged in, and what do I find, I'm still in the group, timer is at 80 so I was out for 10 minutes, they are at the first boss waiting for me and greet me again. We finish the dungeon at 65 and I get all comm's.

I felt luke this game had a pulse again. Though to this day I kind of hope they don't think I tried to log out on purpose when son pulled the plug lol
