Getting rid of surnames

Y'know the first names that'd be taken almost immediately would be omgroflmao and pwnedunoob.

This is why I won't support the removal of surnames, it promotes 'WoW elitist' names, which tend to not work or look right when a name must be given with a space inbetween.

Next thing you know you'll be seeing Ihuntu and killudk

I know what you mean, lost count how many times I've facedesked because I've seen people using names from previous final fantasys.

Have yet to see a Sephiroth though.... probably 'cos he doesn't have a last name XD

I know :[ I know.. but still i've never had the problem where i couldnt get someones name unless they were like quick striding opposite direction then hit a zone line and then dced while zoning.. O-o granted it does take a bit to type the name it could be worse... most of the time if im talking to a few people i just cycle through Ctrl R and normally dont have problems..

You could see that kind of names even if we didn't have surnames.
Then there would be people running around with names like "optimusprime", "cloudstrife", "tifaleonheart", etc.
It's all just punched up together. :/
