This is mostly it.

Even if our levels were to be synced and we maintained our moves, we would still have a ridiculous advantage that would make each and every dungeon a cakewalk.

For instance, let's look at MCH and assume we're in Sastasha. At level 15, we have:

Split Shot, Slug Shot, Reload, Lead Shot, Heartbreak, Leg Graze, Reassemble, and Blank

That's not even enough for a full rotation. Now, bring a level 60 MCH into the same dungeon with those moves (although nerfed), and you have several rotations available to you. Forget the drop in damage output -- no boss would stand long against your Wildfire combo, no matter how nerfed you were. And that's only taking a single job into account.

And, as Chimeric said, having end-game people running content like that would not give anyone else a chance to see how well they were doing. Tanks wouldn't be able to hold enmity, DPS wouldn't have a clue as to whether or not they were doing okay with their rotations or damage since another DPS might be doing something totally different and annhilating everything before them, and healers might not ever get a chance to heal before an enemy dies. Or, alternatively, they might realize it's pointless. A level 15 CNJ would have no reason to attempt to heal a WAR with 20k HP. They wouldn't need it, nor could the healer ever hope to heal it.

I don't think the game is "punishing" you for helping new players. It's making sure that new players get the full experience and that veterans can't destroy anything and everything around them int he blink of an eye.
