A coincidence .....or not? ( It has spoilers )

To be honest, I thought the 'Brawny Knight' of the Knights Twelve in that Echo scene was actually meant to be a reference to the tavern the 'Forgotten Knight' in Ishgard, as it makes perfect sense (after all, the Brawny Knight clearly mentions laying down his sword and shield and taking up an "honest trade, like serving ale."

So if anything, I think he was the original founder of Ishgard's tavern, explaining it's name, because after all, his name truly was forgotten - it wasn't even mentioned in the Echo (although given the fact Clan Centurio is based out of there too, maybe... there might be more to this along your idea as well!).

remember when a lot of people found out that Lucia was a Garlemand lot before it was revealed on the game.

You could see the third eye under her circlet if you looked at her from Lalafellin height.

The "way with the women" that's a "story for another time" might be a nod to the guy at Tailfeather...

The similarities between the gentleman at tailfeather and the Brawny Knight I believed to be character creation limitations.
