I've seen some other stuff by you. I'm confident in you producing a great trailer. However, I agree about the song. It's not great. Did you go in and review the OST for FFXIV? This one could be something to review. Very epic and also different movements throughout the song that can be edited to different effects of your trailer.

Work hard and make us something we can view and you can throw out there to make everyone come storming back (if they had quit) XD

I have to join the group that believes that the music is kinda off, mostly due to the fact that it isn't a Final Fantasy song. Of course you do have the final word on this (and the trailer is quite well done), but I do dare suggest to use a FFXIV song or, failing that, another FF song.

I really like the general feel to it; it has a great sense of what it's like to be involved in XIV - much more-so than the official releases. It's a bit short, as such is the nature of teaser trailers, but usually teasers will make use of a drawn out intro with text over black and a slower intro to the song.

Does that song in particular have a more aesthetic, mellow part that can be used to lead into it?

I can give suggestions for text and such, if necessary. All in all, though - I'd love to help spread this when the time comes. Great effort.
