I understand. You force people to play your way or die trying, good luck out there.

I think your misunderstanding. In low level zones everyone takes pretty much the same damage. I can literally tank a boss. I have done Brayflox with 3 black mages and a healer before.
There are differences between a new tank and a troll.

    A new tank:
Isn't comfortable with the class at first. Obviously needs to practice, only good way is Dungeons (duh). So yes, small pulls are better for them.
I could care less if you can handle more. Let the new tank practice. Seriously.

    A troll:
Complains and sits there, not accepting any advice, and doesn't go forward at all (slow paced 24/7.)
A good example is in this thread. Just saying. Everyone plays differently, sucks that you want to force everyone to go about your way.

S/he was not refusing to tank, though.

Why are you blatantly ignoring the "in the learning stage" part?

I suggest new tanks to make their own parties before doing duty finder.

I consider myself a good tank. If it wasn't for beratement, belittlement, and some negative reinforcement, I wouldn't be as good a tank as I am. That can be said confidently in my situation. The tank bravado certainly separates tiers of tanks. Part of that is the thick skin to lead a group of angry people who will point fingers at you whenever something goes wrong. However, not everyone learns the same.

That all being said, this thread is just feedback for a GM. Why would you even bite on that initial reply, guys? The bait was clear as day.

if a dps or healer pulls adds cuz its too slow for them theres not much a tank can do either try tanking them and maybe dieing cuz the heals cant keep up or let those who pulled them die and maybe die next cuz the aggro springs over.
anyway if youre tank and if its only you who is puling just pull as much as youre comfortable with i always did so and i dont intend to change that =3

Why am I not surprise to see Nektulos here...

    /facepalm

No one should be force to play in an "advance style" way they aren't comfortable with. I'll be the first at admit slow pulls drive me off the walls but I tough it out because either the tank or healer maybe new and I rather they have a good dungeon experience then to ruin all that by being a jerk. If the tank doesn't do big pulls or the healer is just there... healing every 10 secs (as in fully geared players), not gonna tell them to "speed it up" or "do some work," just not gonna give them a commendation.

You shouldn't be doing this regardless of if you're in queue for exp or not. If the whole group doesn't agree to do a full clear then suck it up and deal with it or leave and go do FATEs. Alternatively, go form an exp group in PF.

If you did this to me in a dungeon I'd let you die.

This guy gets it. It's a real shame there are too many people like Nektulos-Tuor in the game.

I'd let him die, boot him, and be done with him. Enjoy the durability loss + Repair. I take it as harassment if someone tries to pull while I'm tanking and I don't ask for it (It took me a bit to get used to the idea of Bard not pulling as an old-school Bard from FFXI)

Nektuolos is a known troll. I only recognize him from his horribly created sig but whenever I see it I know I don't need to read the post.
