He's already been quoted to giving the direct comparison that the weakest mob is the same as an A rank, nothing relative, its the same as an A rank currently in heavensward.
Its not bad to draw comparsions to Hunts, if you have done A/S ranks with only 8 players those things can pose a real threat beating most if not all dungeon bosses in terms of difficulty(they actually have mechanics). Only thing that worries me is that "you can encounter other parties" part as that sounds too much like current zergfest hunts.

Most likely the field is shared amongst the instance server, which means in theory your whole data centre can be in the same zone, even if its server only, some servers are quite large and will have a lot of people, its pretty obvious at this point the initial introduction is gonna be rammed with people. Its not bad to draw comparsions to Hunts, if you have done A/S ranks with only 8 players those things can pose a real threat beating most if not all dungeon bosses in terms of difficulty(they actually have mechanics). Nothing original to add as it's already been said times and times again, but I hope this content will be similar to Sky or Abyssea too. I never reached the first (*sob*), but I participated in some Abyssea parties, both against regular mobs for XP and NM for loot, and I looooooved it. I don't know how crowded Abyssea was when it was first released, but when I was playing, the number of players was just perfect. You went with your party, then random people joined and asked to join your alliance (or the other way around), and it made the whole experience really fun. I pray it won't turn out to be hunts in the sky instead... it would be even worse then regular hunts since it would basically be a zone dedicated ONLY to that... *fingers crossed*

Lets be real. 24 players( 3 parties) will destroy an S rank HW hunt. The bosses would have to be alot harder if you were to consider this for endgame.
