No, I mean like, its not a guaranteed drop, you have a 5% chance to get a piece of gear, and then that piece of gear is also random. This is how they did "item lockouts" in the past. Instead of limiting you on currency used to buy the items, you had a very limited chance of getting the item. But hey, it didn't make you hit a brick wall when you capped your tomes!
I like it, it would be like christmas when it did. But then the forums would overflow with "Why the hell would it drop gear I can't use! So dumb!" And "Make it tokens!" And "Make it always drop! Rng so cheap!". People would not see it as a bonus, they would see it as enforced grind. Thats why "entitlement" gets throw around so much. No, I mean like, its not a guaranteed drop, you have a 5% chance to get a piece of gear, and then that piece of gear is also random. Tbh, I thought you meant along side tomes, but thats what I get for diving into threads all willy nilly when I have this bad of a cold.

I was honestly being sarcastic with that suggestion, I didn't used to mind it, and I don't for things like the relic, I didn't hate atmas, or the dungeon drops. But for gearing a character, I much prefer the current tome system to loot RNG like the old days.I like it, it would be like christmas when it did. Will be in 3.4 I guess (3.0 = highest tome gear, 3.2 = lowest tome gear, 3.4 = dungeon gear)
Or it go into the Hunt shop
