I'm going with green, considering a yellow icon is used to warn you that your item durability is below a certain percentage. Let's keep things consistent.

It's called lime liiiiime
Also customisable UI colours is a good thing.
Previous FF's had it with changing menu box colours and borders and text.
Can we have it?
Although not an option, I'd put white for being at optimal level, yellow just below optimal, and green above optimal level. IMO yellow is for warning so it would seem weird to use it for good things. Green on the other hand gives the feeling of ease, making gear easy to wear, and as such fits the above optimal. White is very neutral color, so it fits well being in the middle.
That would put the scale into something like red>orange>yellow>white>green>blue>grey? which seems pretty logical to me.
//If I had to pick from the two though, I'd take green.
I vote for green

Fairly sure the green option has been given a green light by the community.
I'd have chosen a funnier choice of wording, but why break the path this thread has taken?
I'm going with green. Yellow seems like it would be better for when you +/- 5 levels below the optimal rank.
I would like Green in regards to Rukkirii's post.
