How about dodging an LB, only to fall off by mistake, and get killed from a combination of lb lag and fall damage? No? Just me? Weh.
I'd love the ability to knock monsters off cliffs. It was one of the things in swtor that made the game a lot of fun, you could use the various knockbacks in the game to knock trash enemies off cliffs for an instant kill. It was amazing for saving time in certain instances and one of the best designed parts of swtor.
That wouldn't work, cause then all they would have to do is have a tank pull all the monsters to the edge or something and blast them off and I am sure SE wouldn't want you to have that as a easy win.
That would require careful positioning and coordination and not all maps in the game are designed for it anyway. I think it would be awesome.
Nah, no thanks. It's annoying enough when things get knocked out of line of sight as a caster, so instead of getting a free shot I'd have to move to finish them off again.
Besides, if the cliff isn't high enough and the mob doesn't actually die, they would probably just reset because of the distance from their spawn. Time better spent developing other, interesting mechanics.

Instant win, though if they did add that I could see the knock back for fluid and mechanist knock back being nerfed bad.
Nah, it wouldn't work for bosses. To be more specific I'm thinking of something like Neverreap's trash that's right next to the cliffs. One knockback, send them off, instant kill, keep going. Besides, another difference from this game compared to swtor is that there are no aoe knockbacks usable by players (that I know of). In swtor for example, I could gather a group of 5-6 trash mobs and one dps could knock all of them off a cliff at once and instantly clear the pack. I thought it would of been cool if we got a Boat mount and could go out into the water you know like the wolves den and fish in the middle of the water or just hang out there or something.
