Does instant transportation effect game immersion?

i think if they make airships instant there should at least be lore as to why its instant.
ex. the anima faeries blessed it with atheryte powers and it can now instawarp anywhere
and it should break sometimes and warp you upside down in the sky and then you get to watch your character fall down and die
