I'm glad you are all getting into the story of Menphina and Dalamud (yes, the Japanese name (daragabu) is a bit different, but this was done on purpose and with the blessings of the lore-masters...but for reasons I cannot yet reveal, but will brought to light soon!). We love seeing the speculation flying about and can say that you're inching (ilming?) closer to the truth with every post. Just to let you know our lunar watchdog Dalamud is the lesser of the two satellites orbiting Hydaelyn and normally should be sma-- Ah, but I've said too much already.

Mind is blown.

As long as we have confirmation that the art is correct, the localization is as intended, and all is right where it should be - we can wait for some answers. I, for one, am going to marinate in the realization that I'm actually excited to see how a storyline develops in FFXIV. Despite how great the lore is and how high the potential hovers, the stories themselves have been a little disconnected, aimless, and seemingly without purpose until recently.

o0o0o... now we're getting somewhere. However, if the two celestial bodies in that image are Dalamud and Menphina, and the correct one is red, there's no way around it. Either Dalamud is gaining mass, or Menphina is losing it.

What gets me is that now the promo image takes on a whole new meaning. It's like the marmot is holding up the earring, looking at the moons, and going, "Well... this ain't right... /headscratch"
