The only problem I had after I installed Win10 is that the launcher for XIV stopped saving my SE ID (Even when ticking the box to remember it), No idea how to make it save it again but its not a big issue.

I've had no issues with Windows 10 itself, and actually a slight performance increase I feel.
I did have a problem with Avast! which would cause the launcher to come up blank (it got the news items, but nowhere to enter account information).
With windows 10 I have no issue, the problem is the game. When I'm on DX11 I can't have my browser open, I can't have my usual chat programs open, I literally can't have anything open with hardware acceleration. I can't even alt+tab when in borderless window, because the game will freeze....
The the problem isn't the game. I ran ArcheAge in the background and HW at the same time and did my roulette on full graphics. No issue. With windows 10 I have no issue, the problem is the game. What's your system?
All worked fine for me, no tweaks or changes required after the Win 10 upgrade. In honesty though, Win10 is a bit pointless if all you do is play XIV, I certainly have not even looked at the OS's new features.
Well...
It brings a performance upgrade over both Win 7 and Win 8.1.
If you were using Win 7 on an SSD your startup with Win 10 will be like 3 times faster.
If you were already using Win 8.1 it cuts out the need for a 3rd party program to bring back Start Menu.
And well, you only have a year to upgrade, and there is a possibility to forget.
IMO those are good enough reasons even if you don't care about any other of the new features.![]()

i upgrade from 7 to 10, and i get a massive incerase in FPS with my potato laptop, it incerase almost 30% the FPS (from 25 ish, to stable 30 all the time,i limit the fps to 30)
1. Yes, but I was "forced" to change back to 7
2. Yes
3. For some weird reason, I can't play with DX11. Not even when I was trying out windows 10 (I'm pretty sure my computer has DX11, but go figure)
4. Reason why I changed back to 7, my game sounds were all messed up. They were swinging up and down and I could barely hear any combat sound. For example I couldn't hear Ravana music in the background when I did trials.
5. I absolutely loved windows 10, such a shame I had to change back because I couldn't figure out why my sounds were like that. I will probably give it another try later on.

I recently change my laptop to Windows 10 and it doesn't have any issue.
