Everyone wants their form of entertainment in this game to be rewarding. Everyone is greedy in that way. You vote raiding, I vote crafting, SE voted everyone who who is doing neither of those.

You're selfish and egocentric because apparently the only way for you to feel accomplished is by having stuff that others don't have.
Alexander Savage already gives you exclusive equipment, but you're not happy with that reward because you see other players being happy just by seeing the story and getting gear from Alexander NM, so you want to take that from them so you have more people looking at you.
So... you want your cake, eat it, and deny all the other players any piece of it?
No thanks. Never was the type to bow at the feet of the hardcore raiders.
Lol because people like you aren't doing the exact same thing now... 95% of the content is casual and made a Normal mode just for you, so you want your cake, eat it and deny other types of players some type of fun for themselves? I'm all down for people to have access to Alexander if all they want to see is the story, but forcing people to do it just to gear up for Savage was one of the reasons for the burn out and for Savage losing its appeal (apart from the unappealing story and raid itself but that's another thing...). If all people wanted from "raids" is to have a story mode, then that should've been it, only a story mode, with no rewards. You already have 95% of the content handed down to you and you want more?
I would actually like to have some kind of midcore content, personally, since I fall into that weird dead zone, but c'est last vie. Any serious raider should at least be capable of doing whatever is needed to guarantee the highest probability of success. That's the game, non?
Why not? Alex normal stuff isn't something that breaks the game. it helps you gear for savage. and for some ppl it was probably helpful when it came to bismarck and ravana.
also to keep it relevant. it is something for the weekly routine. I can even see them adding a weekly quest at one point to give out upgrade items similar to the CT quest.
on topic: seeing how hard it is to keep a competent static running, normal alex needs to stay. it's enjoyable content after all. in my opinion at least
You said it right there it gets people to do normal again. And again. Oh and again. And again. If your not even doing savage its pretty much useless heck since wer on that if you have no intention to do or even attempt savage ESO gear is useless right that pretty much means that il 180 gear is good enough right?
Since unless your a full IL 190 you can forget having a chance to get past Faust in AS1. This here just shows how poorly designed Alexander normal and savage are.
Because God forbid they actually want you to do the content they added before Savage. You said it right there it gets people to do normal again. And again. Oh and again. And again. What in the actual hell are you talking about? If it's a non-raid centric game, as you say, so it shouldn't matter if there is a story, because the game isn't centered around Coil/Alexander.
Or do you simply want to stroke your own ego because now you can have that 1% of content, that as you say the game isn't centered around, without doing anything for it?
You have your exclusive content and now you're trying to take ours. Buzz off please.
