Why not? Alex normal stuff isn't something that breaks the game. it helps you gear for savage. and for some ppl it was probably helpful when it came to bismarck and ravana.

also to keep it relevant. it is something for the weekly routine. I can even see them adding a weekly quest at one point to give out upgrade items similar to the CT quest.

on topic: seeing how hard it is to keep a competent static running, normal alex needs to stay. it's enjoyable content after all. in my opinion at least

Since unless your a full IL 190 you can forget having a chance to get past Faust in AS1. This here just shows how poorly designed Alexander normal and savage are.

We already have this attitude here - nerfed Steps of Faith, nerfed Pharos Sirius, nerfed normal Amdapor Keep etc..

People that didn't want Steps of Faith to be nerfed should be forced to have it as their only roulette until everyone in the community has passed into heavensward. Because it is too hard to have 2 people on canons, hold mobs under the boss and go to snares twice..

Even now it's a nightmare? You can literally turn off your brain and mindlessly spam one combo over and over again and still clear it before the final ward now. It wasn't even difficult in its original iteration, it just forced players to work together towards a goal, something this player base cannot grasp. They want nothing but straight face roll content, and sadly SE is all too willing to give it to them

I'm sorry, but I really don't agree with this. Steps got ruined by the nerfs, before when you had to use all mechanics there, there's an epic feel to the fight. It's like you're really pressed for time.
Post nerf it's just a moving dummy fight.
