Throw your face at an encounter until you lose enough to learn how the encounter works. Exploit the encounter that never changes ever and grind over and over for loot that will get replaced in a month.

You pretty much zerg a powerful monster until it dies. Really fun content, really. Nothing about the encounter ever changes, you can't fight it any differently and you have to follow the script. There is no other ways to beat the monster and since its in an instance it never affects the world around you.

People throw around the word "Casual" way too much, when every single content in this game is casual.

This game is very casual. Even the hardest content is casual. You have no penalties for losing in this game.
Yeah, I don't see anyone liking that the day they lose the piece of gear they'd spend weeks grinding to get.

Forgive my ignorance but doesn't that really just boil down to practice, practice, practice?

But if people did not decide to take the easy route to gearing and grind Alexander Normal, they would not burn out on Alexander, it would take longer to gera up for Savage, but that is a choice that players make, isn't it?

you are making it more selfish than what the meaning of my post is, I do know that there are casual players out there... but it's called RAID for a reason, it's supposed to be the hardest content in the game if you going to step in here you know what's coming for you. so for our pov the people who actually raid, I'm just asking for a motivation, to keep pushing myself to come everyday and do this content, is that so bad? there's no sense of satisfaction when I beat A1,2,3S my group is taking a break since we all got bored of doing things we already accomplished with look been the same and no lore or anything that make me look up for the next fight aside from stress we stopped and I don't miss it tbh, I currently find myself doing my dailies and logging out leveling classes slowly since we aint getting nothing new till November...

suggestion: I just tough about what can be done to improve this, maybe.... MAKE ALTERNATIVE or EXTENDED CT that reveals just a little more information of what's coming next, kinda like every game HARD mode that unlocks secret ending that will be a + for me. and maybe not dropping NM gear just leave the gear for (SV)

I remember FEARING going into content in older games. Dying meant losing my gear or having it seriously damaged, and repairing it had a chance to destroy it. You had to learn the environment watch what you do and pull and monsters (hard ones) were on the bottom of some of the deepest dungeons in the game.

Now, this game has a mode that takes you straight to the boss, no fear or stress of losing your gear.

You didn't have time to practice. If you failed it meant starting ALL over from the beginning. You also had other players to challenge so if you pulled to slowly when you got to said bosses you would lose them. Getting down to the bottom of the dungeon, IF You made it took about 30 minutes if not more. Just running to it or trying to rush the dungeon to get back to where you were also had a chance of killing you.

Older games didn't LET you practice. If you stayed and practiced and lost it meant losing your spot and having to start over.

This very GAME is casual. Your concept of Practice is basicly zerging because you lose nothing for failing.

This game has very little fear or stress involved, so when you actually get what you want its short lived. Rewards don't feel like rewards.

Incorrect. Anything is better than playing with randoms you don't know, and doing challenging content with friends is the best thing this game has to offer.

The topic isnt about being Burnt out. Its about not having the motivation to do savage because - the gear looks the same - no story/lore - same boss design/mechanic types(could be fixed by your suggestion).

Only 1 thing in the topic is affected by directly farming NM nonstop, and its not the main issue(story is)

That being said, i dont agree with OP. I did coil for the fights, not story. However, alex fights are pure garbage imo.

I agree. Taking the lore away made savage dull. I'm still doing it cuz I guess I like the abuse? But really I constantly question the point... Coil= difficult contenti downed with my friends and was rewarded with unique gear, a cool story and of course dat sweet sweet epeenage. Savage= beat content to get same set of gear with higher stats. No unique gear. No story. th epeen feels used and tired lol

I don't mind that Normal exists, but I think it's unfortunate that we lost raids that were the difficulty level of Coil in the trade. Savage is tuned like SCOB (Savage), and Normal is easier than most EX primals. I want to raid again but don't want the stress and pressure of fights so brutally tuned as the current Savage fights are.

I don't know if I would go as far as to say "take away Alex NM". But it do think there needs to be more endgame stuff that's fairly challenging and not on duty finder. Turn this thing back into an MMO and not a glorified Dragon Age game with a subscription fee.
