Dragonskin maps need better rewards

I keep hoping that there will be new recipes that use Rush Grass, Exquisite Buttons and Blue Fox Hide. I've done 50+ of these maps and never seen a Thav silk/leather. Crafting mats are great - I'm not complaining about that, but it would be nice to see the occasional Dusk leather, you know?

The miscellaneous lv. 56+ mats are a good enough incentive - great for red scrips.

Dusk leather only comes from Airship ventures.

he has logic. your original post was that maps should drop Allagan Gold Pieces.

when you clear a Dragonskin map, every party member gets anywhere from 2k to 8k GIL.

dropping an Allagan Gold Piece into the loot pool is the equivalent of the map dropping 10.5k gil instead of 8k gil. maps that already drop gil do not need to drop Allagan pieces, it's redundant.

I do think the "one person gets everything out of the chest" happens too often, but aside that, what actually comes out of the chests is mostly fine.

heard they nerfed the HQ drop rates though. Which is sad.
