The salt in this thread is real. "What a parser using douche!", "Report him for trying to give you advice!", "This guy has no idea what he's talking about, you are doing totally fine because you got to level 60!", "Play how you want even if you are a detriment to the party!" , "I have come across parser users before...they are all terrible people!"

If nobody has said it yet, I'd check some guides and see if you are indeed doing stuff correctly or not, OP.

As I am seeing it, it's not the desire to help that is the issue (certainly not what I would take issue to) but the approach. As a teacher, I can tell you there's a huge difference between, "I'm going to teach you whether you like it or not", and "Let me help you to deepen your understanding about things." First and foremost... you can't force knowledge on someone who doesn't want it and coming at it aggressively like that only serves to put people off.
