My problem with healer gear is not that is too feminine. My problem is that it doesn't fit male shape => WHM esoteric robe...

Oh, and that healers and casters share half of their robes (recolouring doesn't count)

hmmm for whm ....AF 1-2 , Ironworks , first Coil , battlemage ,CT1, some 1-60 gear from dungeons are cool (Halonic , Orthodox from HW)

To me, the WHM AF1/Vintage robe will always look better than the AF2 robe.

I support this. In the same vein, I dunno if its been said, but I wish there were some more feminine tank armor designs as well. A lot of the armor makes a great silouette for male tanks but looks like a clunky mess (Im looking at you Woots Curiass) on females.

Have you seen the Smn set on males? That stuff is even worse. In my opinion the female gear in FFXIV looks better than the male gear in general. I have been really close to changing to a female character because of how much cooler they look which is not normal for me. In over 12 years of MMOs and I don't know how many years of RPGs I have never played a girl over a guy.

It is more than just gear we get though. I like nearly every hair choice for every female race and I hate nearly every hair choice for every male race. Roe and Aura males are by far the worst for this.

Male here, and I actually like the AST AF gear on my character. Then again it's all preference.
