Well, people seem to have very different views about this, but for me it makes sense that there's transfer fee for EU players. However, I understand why people think it's unfair and the best solution would be add the transfer fee for everyone.

And really, the transfer fee isn't that much, so I don't really understand why this became a problem in the first place.

I don't mean for this to come off rude so please don't take it as such. You're on a server that is being transferred, so regardless of if you're EU and happy to be going or US and getting the free transfer off the issue doesn't effect you money wise. You're not being asked to pay to transfer, so it's easy to say that it's not a lot to spend when one does not have to spend it.

But people who have been playing this game since 1.0 who were told no EU server was being considered and it didn't matter where they went - and on top of that saw that all servers were clearly marked 'NA/EU' are being overlooked. It isn't their fault that SE had all servers marked NA/EU and told them it didn't matter where they went because no EU data center was coming and they listened to SE. So why should they pay now that SE has changed their mind when they, in fact, followed SE's rules at the time?

I understand you have a very clear point of view on this and regardless what anyone says you might not see the issue since you're getting a free transfer one way or another - but as a 1.0 player who was around at the first transfers and saw that there was no 'clear cut EU server' and no 'EU data center' even planned - I understand their frustration.
